ParentPilot is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and the information you choose to enter about your child, including behaviour logs, mood records, and notes. This information is stored securely in Firebase and is only accessible to you.

You can also create your account with Google or with Apple. If you do, Google or Apple confirms who you are and shares your name and email address with us. With Sign in with Apple you can choose to hide your email, in which case we receive a private relay address instead of your real one. We never see your Google or Apple password.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the tracking, insights, and analysis features of the app
• To send transactional emails such as account verification
• To improve the app based on anonymised usage patterns

Children's Privacy

ParentPilot is used by parents to track information about their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All data entered about a child is entered by the parent or guardian and is subject to their consent.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage. Google's privacy policy applies to data processed through Firebase.

Advertising: on the free plan, the app may show one advertisement, provided by Google AdMob, when you create a PDF of your results. Premium subscribers see no ads. On Android, Google may use your device's advertising ID to choose the ad. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent first, and you can change your answer at any time in the app under Profile, Ad Privacy Choices. On iPhone we only request non-personalised ads and do not track you across other apps. Ads are limited to content rated suitable for general audiences.

Subscriptions: Premium is sold through Google Play and the App Store, and they handle your payment. We never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives your account identifier and your purchase history, not the information you enter about your child.

Data Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase with industry-standard encryption. Access is restricted to your account only. We use secure HTTPS connections for all data transmission.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app settings. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed from our systems.

If you signed up with Apple, deleting your account also removes ParentPilot's access to your Apple sign-in.
